Atlantica is an event and private dining organization agency. 

Deniz Kurt. organizes your private dining and corporate events, consults clients requesting short and long term private chef employment for their private estates, ski chalets, vacation houses and provides consultancy regarding the qualifications of the candidates you select.

From family gatherings to business dinings, special occasions to themed celebrations and a romantic dinner to events showcasing local cuisine, as well as long-term chefs for your home; Atlantica operates with the mission of bringing together its clients with the right solutions tailored to their demands and needs.

We provide chef consultancy services under two categories:

  • Consultancy for the Long-term chef placement
  • Consultancy for the Short-term chef placement

Atlantica aims to raise the standards of both private chefs and clients to the highest possible level with a vision shaped by Deniz Kurt, the founder of Atlantica who has more than 10 years of private chef and superyacht chef experience.

OWNER AND FOUNDER

Deniz Kurt has had a successful career spanning over 10 years as a private chef and superyacht chef before establishing her international yacht consultancy company.

She graduated from MSA Culinary Arts Academy in Istanbul, where she completed her basic culinary education. She then pursued advanced Italian cuisine education at Alma La Scuola Internazionale di Cucina Italiana, becoming a master of Italian cuisine and obtaining a Professional Italian Chef Diploma.

Following her Italian culinary education, she began working at Il Marchesino, located inside La Scala Theatre in the heart of Milan. Il Marchesino is owned by the legendary Italian chef Gualtiero Marchesi, who was awarded Italy’s first Michelin star and its first three Michelin stars in the 1970s. After this, she worked at Armani Nobu Milano, the Milan branch of the restaurant chain owned by renowned Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa.

After these restaurant experiences, she combined her passion for the seas with her career by joining well-known superyachts ranging from 24 to 90 meters. She has sailed over 50,000 nautical miles around the world, including six Atlantic crossings.

Since 2020, in collaboration with MSA - Culinary Arts Academy, she has been delivering the Professional Superyacht Chef Training program, which she founded, training new chefs for the yachting industry every year.

Since 2013, she has worked as a food and travel writer for magazines such as Aktüel, Naviga, and Ceyms. As of 2015, and continuing to this day, she is a regular contributor to YACHT Türkiye magazine. Her gastronomic articles have also been featured in newspapers and magazines such as Hürriyet and Oksijen.

In 2021, she published her first book, Islak Menü (Wet Menu), a culinary and travel book that explores the culinary history, stories, and food cultures of the coasts she has visited worldwide, enriched with local recipes. During the 2021-2022 TV season, she also hosted a 26-episode food and travel show on Beingurme TV.

As of 2024, she writes a weekly column titled “Such a Luxury I Have” for the digital newspaper T24, focusing primarily on gastronomy.
