Atlantico only provides interior crew services.

Atlantico has developed a system that accepts the most qualified CV’s to its pool with a headhunting approach. Thanks to this system, employers, yacht owners, management companies and captains know in advanced that when they come to Atlantico, they find the best of the best.

The following prerequisites are required from crew candidates to join our system:


For Chef Candidates

  • Minimum Level 2 Culinary Training
  • Minimum 1 Year Fine Dining Restaurant or Hotel Kitchen Experience
  • Must-have Certificates (STCW, ENG1)
  • Fluent English
  • Schengen Visa (and B1 / B2 Visa can be required)

The candidate meeting the abovementioned prerequisites is interviewed next. Following the interview and Atlantico's assessment, the approved candidates are incorporated to the database.

The next phase is the categorization of professionals in our system according to their experience.


Experience categories are designated as 1*, 2*, 3*, 4* levels.

1 Star Chef is the candidate with minimum 2 seasons of yacht experience or completed Atlantico Chef Training and is qualified to work as ''Crew Chef'' or ''Sole Chef'' on yachts under 40 meter long.

2 Star Chef is the chef with minimum 3 seasons of yacht experience and is qualified to work as ''Sous Chef'' or ''Sole Chef'' on 40-55 meter yachts.

3 Star Chef is the chef with minimum 6 seasons of yacht experience and is qualified to work as ''Head Chef'' on 60-80 meter yachts.

4 Star Chef is the chef with minimum 2 years of Michelin Star or equivalent restaurant experience + minimum 6 seasons of yacht experience and is qualified to work as ''Executive Chef'' on more than 80 meter-long yachts and for exclusive customers.

 

For Steward/ess Candidates

  • Silver Service or Equivalent Service Training
  • Minimum 1 Year Hospitality Sector or Hotel Experience
  • Must-have Certificates (STCW, ENG1)
  • Fluent English
  • Schengen Visa (and B1 / B2 Visa can be required)

1 Star Steward/ess is the candidate with minimum 2 seasons of yacht experience and is qualified to work as ''Junior Steward/ess'' or ''Sole Steward/ess'' on yachts under 40 meter long.

2 Star Steward/ess is the person with minimum 3 seasons of yacht experience and is qualified to work as ''Senior - 2nd Steward/ess'' or ''Solo Steward/ess'' on more than 40 meter-long yachts. 

3 Star Steward/ess is the person with minimum 6 seasons of yacht experience and is qualified to work as ''Chief Steward/ess'' on more than 50 meter-long yachts. 

4 Star Steward/ess is the person with minimum 2 years of hospitality sector experience + minimum 6 seasons of yacht experience and is qualified to work as ''Chief Steward/ess'' or ''Purser'' on more than 80 meter-long yachts and for exclusive customers.
